Uwharrie Charter celebrates homecoming

Uwharrie Charter Academy held homecoming activities last week prior to the varsity basketball games against Chatham Charter on December 3. The varsity girls won 47-37 and the boys won 57-56. Senior Carter Duggins was crowned homecoming queen and Joseph Phetmixay was named homecoming king.
